Another dull day but we got airborne for a bit. Firstly we finished putting the new rope on the winch and tidied up the parachute etc. Low cloud kept the launches to 400' initially, but up to 1000' later at times.
John instructed Roy and Matt, with Brian and Phil driving the winch. Brian also flew JW briefly. The new rope seemed to work well but we look forward to trying on full-throttle cloud-base unlimited launches.
We retired to the fire early for a beer along with knot-tying instruction from Able Seaman Brian.
