Sunday 31st August....last day of winter!

Yet another nice sunny but (forecast) stable day. With little enthusiasm we gathered for some late launches, hoping that some thermals cooked-up over the afternoon. Brian did his BFR with John and it was certainly stable high above the inversion where they practised their spin recovery. Roland (VH) towed out to the translator and was shortly joined by John in KG. They got plenty of weak thermal experience hovering between 2600 and 3400' for an hour or two.
Thanks to Russell for the tows.
