Pete arrived early and was airborne at noon in JW. His early start was vindicated when he hooked into a thermal and stayed up until his PAX, Kim, turned up. JW was up again with Kim and Pete, another nice soaring flight in weak thermals. John followed in KG, finding the odd good thermal to glide over to the Old Man Range for a couple of hours.
A cool northerly arrived at the airfield, snuffing out the local lift. Phil, Doug and Vivienne all flew though, and afterwards we retired to the club rooms to inspect the bar. Thanks to Phil and Pete for driving the winch.
